The Mile High Trout Fly Fishing team had a great time competing in The Americas Cup Fly Fishing Tournament in Vail, CO. We competed with some of the best Fly Fisherman in the world. Other teams traveled in from all over the world including Poland, Ireland, Canada, and Australia. US teams included USA Youth Fly Fishing

How to Disinfect Your Gear Disinfect waders or boots between uses. Scrub and the bottom of waders to remove all mud, plants and organic materials. Following all label precautions, perform one of the following before going into the next body of water: Submerge waders and gear in a tub filled with cleanser Spray or soak
Wear Polarized Sunglasses in a Copper or Amber Tint. Try to put the sun behind you to reduce the amount of glare. Get a better vantage point by heading to higher ground. Learn to identify what is a fish and what’s not, this takes practice but general rule is to look for darker spots in the water
Attach a few magnets for added storage. Keep your fly selection simple and easy to find. Get bright colored boxes or put stickers on your box. This makes it easier not to misplace. Include contact info in case you do accidentally lose it. Tie your own flies and fill box up
